At Chestnut Groove Natural Area sits a rare and secretive Black-billed Cuckoo. The Lighting was absolutely terrible and of course I forgot to charge my camera batteries so I was constantly having to turn my camera off an on to conserve battery. This was most definitely the most cooperative Cuckoo I’ve ever dealt with and was a treat to see. Another lifer in the book……
