A friend told me that a pair of Mississippi Kites were spotted at the State Game Lands 58, due to a 17-year cicada bloom. Without hesitation, we planned a 50 minute trip over to Chester County, PA. We traveled through the entirety of the mainland, however, we didn’t spot the pair of them. Then, we became side tracked by the other bird species in the area. (Unfortunately, we weren’t able to succeed in seeing the Mississippi Kites, however, later we would get a notification about a pair of Dickcisscels, that where found in an a abandoned construction zone near by.)
